Traditional Finnish cottage holiday is all about spending time together, enjoying the nature and having time and space for yourself. Take a step back from the routine and come to breath-taking Souther-Savonia.

Kapianen cottages are located in Halmeniemi, Mäntyharju, on two beautiful lakes - Kukasjärvi and Korpijärvi. Here you can enjoy your holiday in style and comfort all year round, either alone, with a friend or a group.

Kapiainen Holiday Cottages is a small family business that's been operating in travel industry for many years. We provide quality cottage accommodation of all kinds, from two person cabins all the way to eight person villas. For groups larger than that we can offer multiple cottages located next to one another.

We value each and every guest, which is why we strive to offer quality, comfortable and clean vacation accommodation only.

For families

We've made it our priority to take into account families with small children and to provide plenty of activities so that no one is bored on their holiday. Most living spaces are spacious and open - perfect for indoor family time, should the rain come unexpected. Cottage backyards come equipped with a set of swings and a sandbox with toys, if the beach is not suitable for building sandcastles. We have also prepared several outdoor games for our guests.

For fishers

Kapiainen holiday cottages are located on lakes Korpijärvi and Kukasjärvi, both of which are well-known for their fishing waters. Here you can enjoy rod fishing, spinning, trolling, net fishing and even ice fishing in winter. Or if you want to truly immerse yourself in fishing and get to know the waters, there are fishing guides who'll gladly take you on a guided trip!

Amazing vacation destination. Everything - great host, well equipped place, having the boat there was a great touch, very clean, amazing view, my 2 years old daughter had so much fun!
Perfect holiday home on the lakeshore. Super clean, directly on the lakeshore (like 3 metres away from acctual water) big spaces, great to have the rowing boat and the bbq-hut, all in all a wonderful place to stay and unwind.
